Pros
Nondescript work environment, if you're looking for a low key existence, this is ideal. Everything is status quo for years, management is also very low down and not interested in any changes.
Cons
Inflexible, isolating work environment. The culture is to keep to yourself, even the bonding activities seems contrived and not in the spirit of team bonding. There is no opportunity for growth, not as an organisation, definitely not as an individual. Management level has no accountability and it is blatantly visible. No flexible work arrangement, only special cases. But even when presented with documents (caring for sick family member), they will scrutinise and reject, and then highlight you for taking unpaid leave because you have no other options. Everyone is expected to be on time and leave on time, with attendance taken with feature scanner. Meanwhile upper management able to leave as and when they like. Cultural diversity is a nil, even HR has problems with understanding how different races culture are like (all they had to do was ask) and the end up being more racist.
