Does Eaton offer massages?

Pros

Safe environment and equipment is great, strong strategy plan to keep show the good service to customers. it is very pragmatic culture, the workplace environment is simple but safity. There are no much free foods or drinks and majestic building but still feel comfortable. lead Eaton to achieve the good stock price.

Cons

Political and nepotism environment. to survive in Eaton, the professional skills is not most important thing, can be the team members of the "ruling party" always is the critical. China-Centric in APAC. Eaton leadership who live in China really good with lie and play the political game, maybe this is DNA in Eaton people who live in China. The IT applications are slow and suck, the IT service is always very slow and no good experiences.

Advice to Management

Move out the APAC headquarter out from China. Hire new CIO, VP, GE, managers from outside of Eaton, not all just promote from Eaton, new leader could refresh this company

Does Eaton have a pension plan?

Pros

Mostly friendly supervisors, union facility, pension(for now), educational assistance, no mandatory overtime, double time on Sundays, and air conditioned/heated machine shop.

Cons

Corporate intention to take away our pension, almost zero incentives/rewards for working harder, no merit based promotions/raises/rewards, management and human resources is more concerned with being politically correct then they are with equality. Eaton is great place to work and in general the workforce is composed of friendly and helpful individuals and I really like my job but if you aren't a minority and are dealing with harrassment or bullying by a coworker by someone who is a minority then they are likely to sweep it under the rug, pretend that it isnt happening, or tell you that their investigation didn't produce solid evidence even if they didn't ask any of the people you told them could support the accusation.

Does Eaton offer parental leave?

Pros

All the overtime you could want, there are some decent workers and supervisors okayish pay

Cons

Some leadership will work you harder than what you're paid for and they keep piling more and more on you till you wanna quit. Very hot in the summer, the union is more for the company than for the workers; bad contract, no doctors notes, no sick time, no paternity leave for union workers . They act all ergonomic but when you show them something that's clearly not ergonomic they don't try to fix it. The pay is good but not good enough for the work or the work environment. The management and lower leadership roles drive away good employees and and the union keeps the bad employees around. 58 hour work weeks and a 5 minute break between 5 to 7 am then you have to wait till 9:15 on first shift for a full break.
