Thank you for your feedback and for your contributions during your time at Emburse. We’re glad you experienced positive work-life balance and remote flexibility. Successful organizations require evolution, and we regret that any broader organizational changes left you with this impression. Like many growing technology companies, Emburse has made structural changes to better align our business, product strategy, and customer needs, but we understand the human impact those changes can have. We remain focused on building a more unified, resilient, and innovative company, and we would welcome any additional feedback you’d be willing to share with People Ops at peopleops@emburse.com.

Thank you for your feedback and for being an integral part of our team over the past three years. We’re glad to know you value our benefits, growth opportunities, remote flexibility, and the chance to work with great clients and colleagues. In a year shaped by economic uncertainty, we’ve worked hard to position Emburse not just as a T&E provider, but as a category-leading force in intelligent finance, travel, and payments. As we continue to evolve, we’re committed to further strengthening the company and fostering greater stability. We encourage you to speak with your manager or HR Representative to ensure your voice helps shape our ongoing improvements.

Adrift at the top and change fatigue across all levels

      Senior director
      Former employee
      Colorado Springs, CO
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Remote work, decent benefits, incredible pockets of untapped talent (underpaid in some cases, over in others)

      Cons

The CFO and the CEO are mid, at best. Their lack of operational awareness and capability shines through. The PE firm had to bring in their own COO candidate to help 'right the ship'. Showing out on linkedin at PE events and F1 races, on her horse farm is not what this company needs - it needs strong technical leadership - yeah she has run a software company before, but she can't run this one well.

Thank you for sharing your experience and for your leadership during your time at Emburse. We’re grateful for your contributions and your recognition of the strong talent across our teams. While we understand your concerns around organizational direction, our current leadership team has made significant progress in creating a focused, unified strategy. Our revenue has grown over 56% in the past three years, and we’ve recently been named to the 2025 Inc. 5000 list—clear signals of a business on the rise. If you’re open to further discussion, we’d appreciate hearing from you at peopleops@emburse.com.
