What is overtime like at GXO Logistics?

They force you to come overtime regardless of your family conditions.My wafe was pegrenent and even I told management about it .Thay said it's a mandatory overtime or else give me points .Certain number of points and you're out.

Recently, this policy changed the accumulated points needed before there was disciplinary action taken from 8 to 5 - Lunch is only 30 minutes. Some sites lack access to fast and convenient food, either onsite or off campus, and there's only a small mini-fridge available to fit over 200 people's packed lunches No yearly raises - your pay is determined by your role in the company - Bonuses haven't been given out in the past two years - We aren't compensated for gas and milage used to travel between sites - At high work volumes, longer hours and mandatory overtime is expected

Bad Management. Median Pay. Mandatory overtime. No work life balance. If you volunteer to work on an off day you are required to work 8 hours or given a point. If you miss a day off mandatory overtime (your off day) you get pointed. Management gets every weekend off even when we are working seven days. Favoritism. Deception. Manipulation.

They don't use unit picking; it's a weird metric by how many lines you finish, which makes you seem slow. Benefits are getting higher, no other perks. The do-gooders are also watching you for mistakes, so they can submit a safety, or quality disagreement.

taken over by GXO 2 years ago unrealistic targets, forced overtime, poor planning systems. Everything promised by GXO on takeover has not come to fruition as of yet (better vehicles, better planning, more investment, better equipment) Management attitude has fully changed as hr refuses to address any issues supporting the management team fully creating a closed shop with bullying and a bad working environment. They wouldn't act this way before as they would have been held to account via my last employer. I never felt so unsupported in any role I've ever been in. This has caused terrible poor mental health issues and the lowest morale I've seen from the team of hardworking drivers I have worked with in the past 8 years. I cannot recommend this company and would tell people to steer clear unless dramatic changes were to happen.

Plenty of overtime and subsidised canteen with hot food (Days and afternoons only) at affordable prices . On site support from the recruitment agency. Career opportunities. Working conditions are better than in many warehouses across Yorkshire (i. e. clean and safe warehouse, plenty lockers, new canteen, wellbeing and h&s officers, huge car park etc. All in all if you work hard and willing to do the extra mile you can definitely grow at GXO as there are a lot of opportunities to advance in the company.

Mostly 12 hours long shifts. Lower than average wages, overtime paid at time and a quarter only. 2 breaks on a 12 hours shift, 1 break on an 8 hours shift. Not so competitive salary, not even on administrator / manager level.
