How is the work/life balance at H E B?

low pay compared to industry standard, inflexible work schedule, horrific work life balance, absent HR department, inexperienced leadership that is out of touch with their workforce and resistant to feedback. complete inventory mismanagement causing company leadership to continually take compensation & resources away from hardworking partners, in order to offset tens of millions of $s of unsellable product.

Great company with an even better culture and leadership! Benefits and pay are competitive, work life balance is good. The company is everything I would have imaged it to be - would highly recommend it

Some employees have been at the company for a long time, so it can be intimidating at first trying to build organic relationships and feeling at ease to be yourself

HEB cares about the employee, they value work/life balance, they pay well and very diverse. They have men and women from all ethnicity groups, races, religious beliefs.

Retail hours could be long and unfavorable, they are open everyday from 6am-11pm.
