What are pay rises like at MANTECH?

      Pros

They want you to succeed, there are plenty of opportunities for growth, annual salary increase, benefits are bad at all, and they have a very open and diverse culture. Best company I've worked for.

      Cons

There haven't been any cons for me

Loyalty means nothing here — culture is a cover for mismanagement

      Former employee

      Business outlook

      Pros

Nothing worth highlighting from my very long experience.

      Cons

There’s no real culture here — just contracts, politics, and a handful of favorites. “Culture fit” gets thrown around to justify decisions that are really about saving money or avoiding accountability. People work themselves into the ground doing three or four roles for one salary, with no recognition and no raise. Leadership rewards loyalty with layoffs and excuses. Communication is reactive, never proactive — you find out what’s happening after it’s already happened. Promotions depend more on who likes you than on what you deliver. Morale has dropped so far that good people are leaving faster than they can be replaced. And the results speak for themselves — no wonder they haven’t won anything significant in years. Instead of asking why, they blame “government shutdowns” and “budget constraints.” The truth is, when you stop valuing your people, you lose your edge.

      Business outlook

      Pros

      - Lower then average yearly pay increase in some contracts - Need bonus opportunities

Don't Work on a Government Contract with ManTech

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

      I receive paychecks on time.

      Cons

Consider the below if considering employment on a federal contract controlled by ManTech: - Nearly zero accountability for poor performers. - Nearly zero recognition for high achievers. - Annual salary increases are the below cost of living increase. 3% is unheard of. - ManTech does not recognize all federal holidays and forces employees to take vacation even when working on a federal contract. - No sick time, but coming to work sick is discouraged since COVID. Meaning more of your limited vacation gone. - ManTech does not give significant raises but will hire someone off the street at a higher salary, creating discord on teams. Many of these items are stated to be "industry standard" by management. Do you want to work for a company that just does what everyone else is doing even if it's to your detriment, or one that strives to do better?

      Avoid ALECS!!!!

      Anonymous employee
      Current employee
      Recommend
      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Good job opportunity and coworkers, very little room for growth

      Cons

Avoid any job listing that says you’d be working under ALECS or PMO!! They’re heavy micromanagers and require you to stay on camera, all day, twice a week. Management breathes down your neck and will bully you if you make a mistake. They create a toxic environment where they hold promotions and raises over your head. Also, there is an expectation to go above and beyond your job duties with little to no pay raise.
