Does Northside Hospital have a pension plan?

Solid, stable organization; great employee culture; invests in employee growth and development with programs, tuition reimbursement/loan repayment; great benefits, and oh yea...there is a pension.

working in healthcare is very difficult, but Northside has lower nurse/patient rations than some of the other hospitals in the area

I’ve been working in HR at this large healthcare system for over 14 years, and overall, it’s been a very positive experience. The company offers excellent benefits, including a solid pension plan, which provides great financial security for the future. I really don't have any cons that can be addressed. Traffic in Atlanta could always be better but nothing that Northside can do about that part.

I love the culture at NS Cherokee. Our charge nurses and leaders are super supportive of work life balance. I also am thankful for our pension plan and our tuition reimbursement benefits. Our doctors are pleasant and make the day fun. Our patients are amazing and the reward of helping others is humbling

It would be nice if Cardiovascular Technologist (not Technicians) had a leveling program similar to other modalities.

NS is a great place to work. I originally applied because it had such a great reputation and as a patient I was thoroughly impressed. The pros-flexibility, room for career growth, still offers a pension plan, supportive upper management!

Had to make a huge adjustment coming from the corporate world where you are compensated for thinking outside of the box; that is not encouraged as much as it should be since employees don't like change and have been pacified with a static environment.

In my opinion there are no cons.

Excellent benefits, including both a 403b and a pension plan and a number of services to improve work-life balance and support overall well-being. Mangement in my department sponsors several employee appreciation events every year to make the team feel valued.

The organization is growing so quickly that sometimes it's hard to keep up with the work. As soon as one project is complete, there are three more that need to be started.
