What is the salary like at Nuix?

      just okay

      Senior accountant
      Current employee

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Company listen to employees Friday yay - where employees can go home 2 hours earlier Yearly increase The bosses are good, patient, and the reason I stay

      Cons

The increase yearly are small, which is why in our experience compared to the market, we have below average salary When employees left, the vacant position took long time to be filled, and sometimes they never got filled because the current employees took over. In the end, the employees are overworked and overloaded with same pay rate.

      Pros

Remote Option, decent pay, some nice people

      Cons

No one actually cares about you, little to no onboarding, no career plan, mid to senior management is catastrophic, no clear vision. Most people i've engaged with seemed to work there only for the money, very few had any passion or interest whatsoever. During onboarding noone was interested or eager to help a new employee. Average age quite high.

      Pros

      - Handful of talented and bright people (unfortunately most are not at the c suite level) - Interesting product with a great history of use cases to “catch the bad guys”.

      Cons

My manager was okay. He let me prioritise and do my role on my own although I could sense he was already planning to leave. Personally I didn’t have major issues at Nuix but I could see plenty of issues around me. Bullying is rife especially if you’re in the wrong department or team I saw several people experiencing this. New management have a vendetta against most of the older employees it’s kind of like a game of thrones type of environment. You can always feel tension and there is a sense of management watching over you. If you’re not in the circle of friends of the new management get used to walk on egg shells. Management had no concept of change management either everything is a knee jerk reaction. Weak salary bumps, often promised training and little benefits for a tech company. Don’t know why I stayed for so long always thought things would improve but the place is a sinking ship

      Nuix can't quite get there..

      Pros

Good tech, knowledgable SME's in the company. Pay is decent and PTO is flexible.

      Cons

Very inefficient and frustrating pre-sales process. It's extremely hard to get a demo scheduled without multiple discovery calls requested by the pre-sales team...customers lose interest. Virtually no onboarding. Clawbacks on commissions. Leadership and the company seem to care more about getting every penny of out of the customer than doing what's right for the customer. It's a sticky software which usually forces the customer stay but customers are always upset over service, customer service and price. Products get launched before ready and then change in 2 months and no communication is put out on changes, whether its GTM, configuration, pricing or function(losing or gaining). Can't say I've really enjoyed any time at Nuix, every day is frustrating.

Salaries competitive, but job security is a concern

      Pros

Salaries are in line with and sometimes above industry average.

      Cons

Disregard ratings that are 5 stars because these are inauthentic posts to bring up the score. If you accept a position due to a need for income, don’t stop your job search because tenure at Nuix is short due to constant firings and others who are able to get out ahead of each quarterly wave to drop headcount.
