Pros
Pay is pretty good, the people are great and very flexible time off.
Cons
Direction is somewhat blurry for the company
Pros
They offer generous vacation time and benefits.
Cons
They do not pay a living wage. They pay client Service analysts $42k. The career progression is terrible too. My colleague who Is a specialist has worked there for 5 years and only makes $45k. They say they are all about "culture" but it's all fake, smoke show. You can not be about culture while paying poverty wages. They expect too much, they expect perfection but want to pay peanuts. There are a tonne of people quitting as they have made a ton of changes in the customer service department that no one is happy with. The team leads are lazy and only care about themselves and upper management don't seem to notice or care. The company only offers good vacation time to distract you from your barely over minimum wage salary. They have taken away our internal support line as a way to save money and people are quitting in droves. Save yourself the headache and find a different job.
Pros
I am a boomerang employee that returned back to QHR after leaving, and couldn't be happier with my choice. Since leaving, their efforts to improve employee home/life work balance and over employee happiness has greatly improved. They host fun and creative employee events, offer competitive salaries, provide reasonable benefits that you can customize to suit your needs, and they empower their employees to share ideas and make positive changes within the Canadian Health Tech realm. I have always been proud to share with my friends/ family the work I do with QHR, and look forward to many more years at this company.
Cons
The only downside I can think of is that development recommendations and changes take TIME. Which we internally understand with all the competing priorities, but can still be difficult to wait for when you know clients are eager for changes that will improve their daily workflow. Employees that work here should be prepared to continuously push and advocate for the items they know need improvement.
Pros
Great work life balance Lots of vacation time and sick days Good benefits Amazing team leads Amazing work
Cons
Below market average pay for the level of work we do
Pros
very flexible in work hours and remote style of work
Cons
pay is low and the enoyment of your time there varies depending on what team you are put into
Pros
Good benefits, easy work if you meet KPI’s, Nice coworkers
Cons
Terrible pay, super high turnover rate, work from home burnout
Pros
- Lots of PTO - Benefits on 1st day
Cons
- Poverty wages - A lot of micromanaging and hassling from managers over tiny things all while you can barely keep the lights on because of your poverty wage - Excessive calls because so many people left at once including the Director of the department. Everyone left when the bonuses got paid out. The people left are trying not to drown - They hire people who need the job and then exploit them. There are lots of employees who can't work in person for one reason or another so they choose to stay home and work the jobs of 3 people for the wage of a 0.5 people - Started issuing return to office orders for employees in the Kelowna region. Paying you a poverty wage isn't enough, now they want you to use part of it to pay for gas to drive to their office so they can nitpick you in person - Blatant favouritism and nepotism. Lots of qualified people can't get promoted because upper management is too busy promoting and hiring sisters and cousins and friends
