What is the salary like at Revelo?

Good enough if you want to develop some tech skills while training AI

      Current freelancer

      Pros

      * Good pay. * Easy and quick interview process. * Flexible hours.

      Cons

Not very good if you want a real software development environment.

Work for US companies for a better salary. Gympass WeWork, Wooba

      Cons

      - Professionals are being "rented" to US companies for less and less. New job openings are paying a third of what they used to. - Benefits have been cut down for the past 2 years. - Health care was switched 3 times in 2 years. Now people are forced to use SafetyWing (a health care where you pay first and then ask for reimbursement) and have constant problems with trying to get their money back. - We used to have a debit card with a monthly fixed value as an extra. It was cut down. - We must pay 30 USD to receive our salary directly into our accounts. Otherwise, you need to use services like Husky. Which are cheaper. The promise was that people that paid the 30USD were going to be paid first. Which is also not true. - They used to negotiate 30 days PTO with companies to follow Brazilian laws, but that is also not done anymore.

Poor Onboarding and Misaligned Marketing Practices

      Marketing

      CEO approval
      Business outlook

      Pros

Its remote and the salary was great.

      Cons

I started this job in September, and my onboarding experience was one of the worst I’ve encountered. Instead of receiving a proper walkthrough of how HubSpot and email marketing are implemented at Revelo, I was directed to watch tutorials—despite already holding certifications in those areas. The marketing team is stretched incredibly thin, and the infrastructure within HubSpot (such as data points and custom objects) is unclear and poorly organized. Email marketing at Revelo feels more like a numbers-driven sales process, with a focus on blasting 60-100 emails at a time rather than using thoughtful, strategic campaigns. Leadership’s understanding of email marketing is concerning. On one occasion, I was even instructed to send an email without an unsubscribe link, which is just spam. Overall, this has been one of the most disappointing jobs I’ve held. Unless significant improvements are made in onboarding, infrastructure, and compliance, I cannot recommend this position to others. Work life balance is non existent, I am consistently receiving slack messages after hours with no regard to my personal time.

      Pros

The company had a strong inbound flow in SMB for a long time. I was never denied PTO Working with an international and diverse team Base salary was within average range for similar roles, given it was inbound. Commision structure and targets changed every single quarter

      Cons

Leadership was a revolving door Leadership had an inability to scale the sales org, so no career growth opportunities CEO had shifting vision for sales org every few weeks shifted an inbound SMB org to mid market/enterprise fully outbound sales with no difference in base salary or commision rates. no additional support was provided to team. We we told to become problem solvers and figure it out. Whole outbound team was laid off after new leadership joined 5 months into new focus.

      Pros

      - Nice benefits and salary

      Cons

      - The company does not need technology to survive. It is now a staffing agency. - Management's strategy was unable to create digital products either companies or people used successfully. - Most product managers and designers were fired for no justifiable reason. They were amazing professionals. - As a senior engineer, I did not have opportunities to lead a long-standing project. - I was constantly ignored by upper-management when technical decisions needed to be made - We had a rhythm of delivery that was unsustainable, and I would burnout repeatedly.
