Currently have a great LM who has my back and is very supportive and appreciates my work quality. I enjoy my team and the collaborative approach on issues. Very adamant on making sure you cover your back side and support you on issues.
Cons
Slow growth opportunities. The onboarding process for contractors is a little behind the times. Not the greatest of pay rates.
Horrible communication. Little understanding about what a realistic workload should be - especially when it’s teams of 1 or 2, they have no experience with what one person can get done with next to no support. I was encouraged to move my time off requests for business needs on more than one occasion because of the pressure. Little to no recognition. Everyone is very cliquey. Not a friendly atmosphere.
