Techs are generally considered the boss over the pharmacist Leadership wants to run the pharmacy Also Techs wants to run the pharmacy If you say something to Techs during the cause of your duties as a pharmacist you most likely get in trouble for it A tech has been here for 20yrs plus and she considers herself and calls herself as pharmacy manager and the store manager is happy with that. High employee turnover You always going to be training new techs and be understaff It’s a very busy store Store manager is not honest and transparent You will be hired only to be used for awhile and then, someone else will be hired to replace you Career advancement is not by merit or hardwork

Advancement opportunities were present Supporting pharmacist and tech team Most customers were lovely

Extremely fast paced Corporate KPIs were sometimes hard to justify

The staff i worked with were the only good thing about this place.

Reduction in compensation over time. Expecting more work with less hours. No support from upper management on disrespectful managers. Career opportunities based on who you know not who is capable of doing the job… the list goes on and on…

Work environment is amazing. Good to put on your resume. Helps you grow in your career.

Pay may not be as high as expected

Depending on the pharmacy, good coworkers and staff pharmacist, in demand position.

Pharmacy is understaffed, patients treat you poorly - like fast food but stakes are slightly higher. Essentially a dead end career choice. Underpaid for the work you end up doing.
