How are the career development opportunities at Western Express?

All of the horror stories are true. Fluctuating pay, always late getting you home. If you won't be a trainer they don't care about you basically at all and it isn't much better even if you do. Of course then you're going to be stuck with whoever they just hired, no matter how stupid, smelly or dangerous they may be.

Will hire anyone fresh out of cdl school

The company keeps me busy. I've been here almost my entire trucking career. Most of the semies are in good working order. The maintenance shop in nashville make sure everything is in great shape for you and I'm always home when I'm supposed to be. I think a big part of being with the company as long as I have is my boss.

The only con I have with western express is the weekend/night crew at times they don't answer the phones not all the time but a big part of the time.
