Pros
Good salary, great commission structure, a fair leave / sick leave policy, lots of human interaction, recognition
Cons
The interview process stretches out for 2 to 3 months, and once you're in, there's this pervasive feeling of distrust. Accountability seems to be missing, and when things don't go as planned, fingers start pointing. If targets aren't met within a month, you could find yourself out of a job with little explanation, highlighting a real issue with communication here.
The CEO personally designs sales pitches that often fall short of client expectations. If you try to put your own spin on things as leadership would suggest, it might just end up with you being reprimanded in front of everyone in a meeting. There's this big gap between what the company says it stands for (the values) and what managers actually do, leaving a lot of folks feeling let down.
On the bright side, there's the Operations Director, who's a stand-up person, creating a supportive atmosphere. But it's wise to tread carefully with other leaders who seem more focused on keeping their jobs than anything else, they would tell you to do something and next thing when you are in a meeting being questioned why you did it, they would be part of the cast who will expresses dissatisfaction in what you did. Navigating this place means being smart about who you trust and sticking with those who really have your back.
I was told that someone would be helping me with an account, eventually it clicked, the day my "team mate" was introduced to the company and I posted in the Slack channel that I look forward to tackling the account together, I found myself without a job, they are sly and very sneaky and will conduct interviews for your replacement while you are doing your best.
