I recently went through the interview process with 360 Connect, and my overall experience was a mixed bag that prompted some thoughtful reflections on the company's alignment of expectations and budget considerations.
The journey began with a friendly and insightful introductory call with Sandy, the HR recruiter. Sandy's transparency and genuine interest in getting to know me made for a refreshing conversation. She provided a clear overview of the company culture, the role's responsibilities, and the subsequent steps in the hiring process. This level of openness set a positive tone for the entire experience.
However, a notable discrepancy emerged when it came to aligning the company's expectations with the budget. It became apparent that the requirements they sought in a candidate did not quite match the compensation offered. Living in Austin, where the cost of living can be high, and factoring in a commute three days a week, the offered pay fell short of what would be considered suitable for the circumstances.
Despite this financial misalignment, I must commend Sandy for her honesty and transparency throughout the process. It is rare to encounter a recruiter who is so forthright about the challenges a candidate might face, and for that, I am grateful. Sandy's candor enabled me to make a well-informed decision about whether the opportunity was the right fit for me.
In the end, I made the decision to rescind my candidacy. It became evident that I was grossly overqualified for the role, and out of respect for both my time and their time/company resources, it seemed the most prudent course of action.

First a telephone screen with HR and then an in-person interview with the manager and the HR rep. From there there would have been an interview with higher-ups, but I didn't make it to that round.
The standard interview process started with a call, following an in-office interview, and a third in-person in-office hybrid approach. Everyone was nice, and very specific to every question within the industry.
