They started with my projects and the questions branched from there. The interview was an hour and a half the tech lead was there and he started asking me about not only technical problems but also maths and very in-depth questions

First stage was a task sent by email, the second stage was a technical interview. The position was C++ Software Engineer as mentioned, but the interviewees haven't asked me a single C++ question. Instead, they asked many questions related to QML which was weird. At the end of the interview I asked them "why the interview was about QML and you didn't ask me single C++ question, when the role is C++ software engineer", they told me they expect you need to have a strong background in C++ to understand our work and use QML.
