Very simple they call you in for an interview and ask questions the specific manager finds appropriate for your position and even just to know more about you. They are mostly looking for open availability

Interview
It was a group interview where the interviewee would ask a question and we would take turns answering. We also had to practice/show the interviewee how we would greet the customer.
I waited a while for the manager, when I arrived she wasn’t there. It was a group interview. I honestly think the manager didn’t really care what we were talking about and just wanted to hurry up and get us out.

The interview process was the most horrible one I've had, I literally was interviewed in the middle of the store while the store was packed with customers it was uncomfortable. The manager was 20 minutes late.
