First Round: Online technical test featuring a full-stack application development assignment hosted on the DoSelect portal. Second Round (In-Person Hackathon): We were instructed to arrive by 9:00 AM, but the event didn't start until 10:30 AM. Out of approximately 6 candidates present, we were divided into two teams of 3. The organization was highly inefficient; the interviewers wasted over 3 hours just trying to grant us repository access, set up the Wi-Fi, and provide the design assets. Despite this massive delay, our team successfully built a live, working application with a demoable UI that met the core problem statement. Unfortunately, during the final review, the panel heavily penalized us for missing basic code validations — edge cases we simply didn't have time to implement due to the 3-hour setup delay caused by the company. The entire process felt unorganized and unfair, resulting in a wasted day and a very frustrating candidate experience
