I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at ABC Supply Co.
Interview

IT
DEVSEC
So these expectation is too high and needs a lot of preparation.
So most probably they are expecting an employee who can perform in all the domains.

Interview
First round with a manager. First half of the questions were about experience. He almost shut down the whole thing when he said they needed someone with AngularJS experience and said “up to you, it’s your hour”. It was a weird and rude comment. Wouldn’t he know if it disqualified me? He said it didn’t, and that they do offer training/knowledge transfer. The recruiter repeatedly told me how great they are about getting back to applicants, yet they never gave a final answer and “made a comment about needing someone with AngularJS experience” and I was ghosted. Poor communication on all fronts.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ABC Supply Co. (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2022
Interview
I initially went into this interview already not wanting the job after researching the company and co-founder, Dianne Hendricks. Her donations to Marjorie Taylor Greene and tax controversies really made me lack respect for ABC Supply. Because of this, I did little to prepare for the technical questions that I knew would be asked.
The interview was arranged with a recruiter from LinkedIn and it was done over Zoom. It lasted about an hour and I spoke about my experience at my current role. We went over some technical questions surrounding .NET, Angular, and SQL. Then, there was a small live coding exercise.
