I applied online. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Chicago, IL) in Mar 2017
Interview
Was absolutely ruthless, the sequencing part i got to around 21 or 22 questions skipped 2 or 3. Whereas the mental math part only got to around 40. Seriously I have studied trading for a little while now and know quite a bit about the actual art of trading but trying to figure out 18*56 mentally in less than 10 seconds a piece is unreasonable. Am still waiting to hear back from them.
I was selected for numerical testing and then first interview. Basic competency based questions including machine learning and computer science. Focus on quantitative ability. Was a good experience overall with feedback.
Phone interview with expected value probability question. Interviewer is helpful and nice. Question was very unclear at first, so ended up messing it up, but interviewer was giving helpful hints.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AKUNA CAPITAL (Sydney) in Jun 2020
Interview
First stage was a quick maths and sequence test. Some of the questions got hard towards the end to answer quickly eg. 124x57. 2nd Stage was a coding challenge where they asked you to complete 3 coding questions in 1hr. I only managed to finish 1 and a half but still made it through to the phone interview which I have not completed yet.
