I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALKU (Andover, MA) in Dec 2013
Interview
Interviewers made me feel very comfortable. Asked about my overall background and characteristics about myself. Asked why I was interested in sales. I spoke to 3-4 people in different roles in the company. Very conversational. They try to talk to you OUT of wanting the job. They are looking for people that are money motivated and want to succeed. They are looking for true go-getters.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ALKU
Interview
I applied online and about 2 weeks later I received a call from an internal recruiter we had a 30 minutes phone interview just going over background and the position. Then a few days later I had a zoom interview with 3 different people. Make sure you have questions prepared for each person because that is highly expected.
I honestly thought the interview was very easy going but unfortunately I did not receive an offer and I asked why because not to toot my own horn but I was very qualified and even had sales experience. They said I didn't get the job because I wasn't 100% into sales because I said I was interested in becoming an internal recruiter one day. So make sure to say you want to work in sales forever!
