I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Fort Collins, CO) in Jan 2014
Interview
Applied online. A few days later was called to schedule interview at the location I applied for. They were in a bit of a rush to hire. Went to interview, and was welcomed by everyone, great atmosphere. I was given a couple of handouts on the job description and wardrobe policies. The General Manager asked if I had any questions or concerns about the handouts. He showed me around the property and building. Then in the office it was pretty straight forward: tell me about your job history and yourself. Experiences with customer service, sales ability/comfort level, etc. Then was told in detail the job duties, and what to expect. And if I would be willing to consider moving up in the company and possible relocation - to which I said yes, but would just be willing to travel up to an hour to get to work. The interview was great, and very relaxed and welcoming. Was told that he would put in his recommendations to the Talent Board, and then they would call me to do a phone interview just to confirm the decision. My interview was on a Saturday, so my call came on Monday. The phone interview was essentially the same thing - how comfortable am I selling, could I lead people, what are the top three qualities of great customer service, etc.

Question 1
Why do I think I'm the best candidate for the position?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Olathe, KS) in Mar 2011
Interview
Extremely diverse company. Lengthy application process online, with a personality, math and language quiz. Failing this quiz results in disqualification for job. Interview is formal, but showing your personality is a welcomed thing.

Question 1
I always dislike the question where it feels like you have to brag on yourself. "Tell us about your strengths and a time, an example, of which you excelled and went above and beyond."
I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment in Jan 2010
Interview
This interview was obtained through an internal job posting. It consisted of one in person interview with a General Manager of a local theatre that was on the area Talent Board. It was a behavioral based assesment (tell me about a time when...). Very straight forward. I was offered the position after the first interview, but it is standard that the applicant recieves a second interview with another GM from the talent board before an offer is presented.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you made a mistake. What was the mistake. How did you resolve the situation. What was the outcome.
