I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Omaha, NE) in Nov 2011
Interview
Very tedious. The manager contacted me after a few days of submitting my application and asked me to come in for an interview. It was just me and him and he asked me very tedious questions that did not do a good job of showing my strengths at all. He kept going with all of these questions and I did not really think they were very relevant to the staff job that I was going to be doing. Overall, the experience was pretty basic and the questions were trivial, but the entire interview process was not difficult at all.
I applied online. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Dorchester, SC) in Jul 2017
Interview
They ask simple questions: strengths weaknesses, a time you've had a rough day and had to keep a good attitude. It was very relaxed and simple to go through. Didn't even write much, just checked off a list of appropriate answers such as having to answer that a good employee is quick, clean, and friendly and checks off what you say off a list so really talk as much as you can.

They asked about my availability and simple normal interview questions such as my passion and what I like to do in my free time, as well as a bad experience I had at any store.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at AMC Entertainment (Aurora, CO)
Interview
The basic interview questions are asked, nothing too difficult here. They do ask you to pitch them an AMC stubs card sale though. That isn't difficult either. Just be yourself, answer confidently, and you'll get the job.
