He briefly introduced the company and team, then asked about my background, education, and several projects I’ve worked on. We talked about my experience in optical design, simulation and fabrication, and he asked which locations and teams I was interested in. At the end he explained which optical engineer positions might fit my profile, the timeline for feedback, and the possible next steps in the interview process.
