Applied through their internal website, got an email from their HR generalist a couple days later.
Scheduled out the initial interview about the role on a Wednesday morning. Same HR lady wanted to schedule the second round of interviews with their Marketing Director same day that afternoon (which was declined due to other time commitments). I thought that was a bit fishy.
I was able to reschedule this interview for the next day same time (Thursday). I was then informed 2 hours before the meeting that they filled the position within less than 24 hours.
Completely unprofessional and shows lack of empathy and negligence for another person's time. Nothing against the recruiter as she was nice and pleasant, however whoever made this executive decision to accept another candidate through their pipeline just to devalue THEIR time and provide false hope has no place to be making such decisions. Management should highly re-evaluate their leadership abilities and level of professionalism. If this is what the hiring process is like, I can't imagine them valuing you or your time as their employee.
Looking for employment here? Keep searching.... not worth the unprofessionalism and lack of executive decisiveness.
