Thank you for taking the time to share your insight into our process. I'm sorry to hear that you did not feel the questions had variety -- our intention is that each round learns more about the candidate. I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Accelerated Digital Media (Chicago, IL) in Nov 2025
Interview
Went through four interviews and was ghosted by the person who initially reached out to me about this role. Even after sending follow up emails I haven’t heard back. Interviewees time is valuable too, the least you can do is let someone know you’re moving on to other candidates.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While our intention is never to ghost a candidate, it seems that there was a break in communication on our end. If interested in reconnecting, I'd be happy to meet with you to learn more about your experience.
Since we are in the middle of our integration with Outerbox, the best email for me is mscheer@outerbox.com
I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Accelerated Digital Media in Sept 2025
Interview
Made it to the final round after a lengthy assignment and multiple touchpoints (about a month in). Unfortunately, the process then stalled out for nearly six additional weeks with vague communication. They finally let me know I was rejected, but I was genuinely close to walking at this point due to how drawn out the wait was (especially after a detailed practical). You'll notice they have a lot of positive employee reviews and negative interview stories on here - I don't think that's purely coincidental. I felt they were trying to build an ATS pipeline without serious intent to act quickly (and not communicating that), which I believe puts too much power in the company's hands and sours the candidate experience. I'm sure they're a talented firm doing quality work, and it may well be a great place to be employed, but this experience showed company ego to the point of turning me off. I would advise them to really tighten their hiring process - don't post a listing unless you actually intend to fill it quickly (especially if you expect them to invest heavily in the process), and remember that evaluation and reputation go both ways, starting with the candidate experience.
