      Marketing Assistant Interview

      Interview

I applied online back in July and they extended an invitation to interview at their company in North Hills(Raleigh, NC). The interview was simple and straightforward. They were very kind and charismatic, which was nice. I thought the interview went absolutely fantastic, and I was told I would receive a phone call, regarding next steps in the hiring process. Guess what? No follow up phone call! I understand if I was overqualified or maybe not a right fit for their company culture, but at least have the decency to say we are moving on with other candidates. I think it is extremely rude and unprofessional to have someone come all the way to your office to meet one on one and discuss the possibility of joining your company, then never receive a follow-up email or phone call. I think it would be in their company's best interest to not be so passive , unprofessional, and fake to their candidates in the future.

Dear Sir or Madam, Thank you for your constructive feedback and bringing this matter to our attention. We are so pleased to hear that you had such a pleasant experience during your interview here at Acquire but regret to hear your experience that followed, or lack there of, was the opposite of the time you spent in-office. There is absolutely no excuse for our failure to follow-up with you regarding the next steps in our hiring process and for that, we sincerely apologize. Each component of our hiring process, including the follow-up, is of great importance to us as well as the applicant so we have discussed your feedback with our management team as well as our Careers Dept to quickly get a grasp on the situation and prevent something like this from slipping through the cracks again! Kind Regards, Human Resources Dept. Acquire

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Acquire (Raleigh, NC) in Mar 2020

      Interview

I had my first interview via video and was asked on the spot to be there Monday morning at 9:30 for my second interview. When I got there there was 5 other people waiting to interview too. The office was complete chaos and we waited for over an hour to actually be interviewed. All throughout my interview they told me how much growth is available at this company but never what my job description really was. After the second interview they asked me to fill out a questionnaire and that I would also be having my third interview on the spot. I was brought back into another office after waiting quite some time where I was then offered a job on the spot. After leaving the office I thought of all of the questions I should've asked so I emailed the girl I did my interview with to get those answers before moving forward with the offer and never received a response. I had a gut feeling something wasn't right about this company/job offer. I did my research that night and found reviews from people who word for word experienced what I did while being in the office. They lie to you about what your job title will really be and make it seem like you will be doing office work but in reality you will be sent off after the morning meeting to be a sales rep, not a marketing assistant. Do not fall for this scheme.
