Recruiter reached to me on LinkedIn and scheduled meeting to discuss the role and salary expectations. Then, she sent me the assessment which I had done well scoring ~80%. Then, she scheduled a screening interview with Hiring Manager but it was more of very in-depth technical. Meanwhile, she also checked on my references. Then, second round of interview was scheduled with two senior software developers where there was technical discussion around skills/experience. No coding/problem solving. Then next day, she responded that they made an offer but they don't think that your skills are of senior but intermediate level; so, they are offering less salary than what we have decided earlier but they will try to push it further as it is contract role. After a week, they said they can hire for full-time role for less than 40% salary where I said no.
