The interview process took almost three months!
It consisted of the following steps:
1. HR interview
2. Take-Home Assessment with bugs to fix
3. Three interviews with the team
The biggest problem I had was the lack of clarity and communication with the recruiter. It was very confusing and so sloooow. I submitted the take-home assessment and waited two weeks without any response — no updates, no clarification. Several times during the recruitment process, I had the feeling that they forgot I existed, as there was complete silence from the recruiter.
The Take-Home Assessment was nice and fun. It was challenging, and you had one week to complete it.
Another big part of the interview process was meeting the team. I had to meet all the team members in three separate meetings. The questions were mostly to test soft skills, but they were almost identical and were asked three times. Why couldn’t it be just one meeting to avoid wasting time? I don’t know.
In the end, I was rejected — and of course, there was no feedback!
And I had to wait another two weeks for the rejection letter, by the way
