      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at AdMed (Philadelphia, PA) in Mar 2025

      Interview

It was a straight forward application, where they first send you a piece to do, Then have an virtual interview with two medical writers, and then an in-person interview in their office with either two senior medical writers or a director.

      Question 2

Without knowing the other interviewees and their qualifications, what makes you stand out amongst them?
      Answer question

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AdMed in Mar 2022

      Interview

the interview process was very long and stretched out for multiple weeks. it consisted of a phone screening, an assessment, a zoom interview with 2 people for an hour, and then a 1 hour interview in person at the philly location. the company had let me know that my assessment was one of the best they'd received from an applicant and my interviews went very well. I let them know that I had received another offer and was planning on rejecting it for admed, but needed to know after 3 interviews when they would make a decision. They told me that friday of that week I would know, before I made the decision of accepting or rejecting the other offer. By friday I heard nothing until about 4pm where they told me they would instead let me know later in the next week. An entire week later. I then had to reject another great offer in anticipation of working for admed. The next week rolled around and I heard nothing back. By friday (1 week later than when they told me I would be informed) I heard nothing. I sent them an email asking for an update of which I received an automated rejection reply from the recruiter I had been in close contact with. Not only was my time and money wasted along this process, but I also lost another great job opportunity as admed made me feel confident I would be receiving an offer. The process seems way too long and in depth for such an entry level position. I feel that just a zoom interview would have sufficed as when I drove all the way to philly I was asked the exact same questions only this time it was in person where I had to pay for parking and gas. If you are interviewing with this company and have nothing better to do, go through this process. But if you have other opportunities, stick to them.

      Question 1

General stuff about my background, education, and knowledge. Asked about my thought process during the assessment as well as my work ethic and strategies.
