I first applied online to the Marketing Web Developer position and within a couple of days, I received an email from Adjust to arrange the first Skype interview. This first step was mostly to check an initial culture fit with HR and to align expectations about the position, company, and candidate. The conversation was quite nice and the support I received from the HR gave me a great impression about the team and Adjust's culture. After this interview, I received a technical test, for which I was given 3 days to accomplish and send back to the developer who I'd be working with. The task itself wasn't related to Adjust's product or business, but it was cool to get to see which were the technologies I'd be working with. The final phase was an on-site interview with the team I was applying for. In total it was 3 separate interviews, with the team leader and colleagues. At this stage the conversation topics varied from technical to personal questions, both to check the ability for the job as well as if there would be a fit with the team. Since the interviews are separate, some of the questions are asked more than once, but I guess it can be helpful for the team to make a less biased decision. Overall the process went quite well, especially due to the support from HR team.
