I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Agnes Scott (Decatur, GA) in Jul 2024
Interview
I got an email invitation to schedule a phone interview on June 7th–the phone interview took place on June 10th with the Director of Admissions. After the phone interview I was told, “Will hear back soon.” On June 26th, I received an email requesting an interview in person on July 8th. After I accepted the invitation to interview, I was told I had to complete a cover letter (previously optional when applying for the job) and create a power point based on my undergrad experience. The in-person interview took nearly 3 hours, and I met with a panel of Admissions counselors, the Vice President for Enrollment and Dean of Financial Aid, the Associate Director of Admission Operations, and the Admission Operations Coordinator. After meeting with everyone, there was a “writing test,” which was responding to a prompt email from a prospective student about the admissions process. During your time to type the response, you get to use the laptop to search for additional information if needed. At the end of the interview, I met with the Director of Admissions who asked me some questions.
All of the interview questions are the same because they all have the same script to take notes on, all you have to do is reuse your same answers.
I got an email update about the position on July 11. It was a rejection of them moving in a different direction for the position.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Agnes Scott
Interview
In-depth interview process. Phone screening to start. Then two interview panels with teams members and then directors. Also asked to create and present a presentation to the team. Thorough and a little extensive, but the questions weren’t particularly challenging.

Interview
I heard back from the Director of Admissions a month after applying. We had a nearly hour long phone interview. The following week we scheduled an on campus interview where I gave a presentation to the Admissions team, met with the VP of Enrollment, the Director and Human Resources for a short writing prompt and evaluative assessment on Excel use and grammar.
