It was relatively short process. I was contacted by a recruiter. First round was a video call and second round was meeting with three people from the team. The questions were not that technical but instead more focused on what you're currently working on and experience with certain technologies. I was declined after the second interview because I didn't have experience with certain technologies like GitLab, Maven, Artifactory. They could have easily found out in the first round I didn't have experience in those technologies. Instead I wasted an entire afternoon interviewing. I found out this position had been open for awhile and came to the conclusion they were not serious about hiring. They do require people to come into the office three days a week which seems excessive and outdated especially post-pandemic.
