Question 1
Nothing crazy. Did take a personality test though.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Alliance Solutions Group in Aug 2017
Interview
Very unprofessional temp agency. I applied on indeed.com for a line attendant position at Great Lakes Cheese. I received a phone call from a lady at Alliance Solutions Group. I was surprised the position was through a temp agency. The lady asked me a series of questions such as desired salary, shift preferred and work history. She told me there was a 9 am tour the next morning. I received a few emails for instructions and directions. The tour was a joke. The email stated it was going to last an hour. It lasted only 20 minutes watching the line from the above employee breakroom. The staffing advisor who lead the tour stated that "we would have to kiss the supervisors behind to be even considered for a permanent position". So in essence, there is no guarantee of a job. The advisor said he would get back to each of us and notify us with a start date. After, the tour concluded, I was sent to their Streetsboro office to fill out my application and W2 forms. I got there and the receptionist appeared irritated that I arrived early. Nowhere in the email did it state an arrival time nor did the lady I spoke with state anything about a scheduled time. She instructed me to go to their Streetsboro office after the tour concluded. I had to wait till 11 am for my official interview. I was insulted. I didn't even meet a person. The interview was conducted via video conference which was recorded so "they" can make their hiring decision. It consisted of 3 questions: Dealing with a difficult employee, calling off in the first 90 days and arriving to work late. I really was disappointed that I did not actually interview with a real person. Nor could I present my resume or letters of recommendation. I feel I wasted my time with this unfriendly and unprofessional agency.
