Interview
Had my second interview in April 2021. Personally, this was my worst interview experience. Similar experience as other past reviewers, there was a lack of communication and their internal consultants give off a conceited impression. There was no way I ever feel that Allianz Consulting APAC was interested in convincing me it was a good fit. Interview invites were always sent out past midnight which reflects their work culture.
The interview was conducted by two ladies of which one is an existing staff with less than 0.5 year tenure in the firm. She was not helpful to assist when I stumbled. Instructions were unclear. Both not cut out to be interviewers, no communication between themselves, highly unprofessional and wasn't even prepared to read my resume before interview. Very disengaged during the interview. When asked on the follow-up steps in the hiring process at the end of the interview, I was given the answer: 'you shouldn't be asking about the next steps right now'.
Not surprisingly, despite my follow-up email to thank the team for the interview opportunity immediately after interview, I did not get a response on follow-up timeline. I understood that they've moved on with other candidates and went on with my life to interview with other firms. By way of courtesy, wrote in again 1 month later to ask for updates in hiring process, only to receive standard rejection email. Such should have been given within a week after interview! If there had been no intention to hire, do not waste potential candidates' time. To experienced candidates, apply to its Allianz Consulting APAC office at your own risk! You're better off applying elsewhere.

Interview process was fast. One time the presentation cut the presentation without waiting for explanation, though still in the time limit. They also sent out materials to prepare for the interview.

How to measure the degree of angle between 2 analogue clock hands?
Interessant Gespräch. Zuerst Vorstellung und Besprechung des Lebenslauf sowie fragen zur Motivation. Danach Case bearbeiten aus dem Versicherungsbereich. Insgesamt angenehme Atmosphäre. Sehr interaktiv, fühlte sich nicht nach ausfragen sondern eher nach Teamarbeit an.
The process was quite simple and professional. HR interview followed by a case interview. Then you review and present the case to other team members, followed by some feedback on the presentation.
