I was invited to an HR screening, asked a few questions about my experience, and then my salary range. I said 50-60k, and the response was would 36k be a deal breaker? I somehow had to say "yes" in a professional way. 36k is $18/hour, this company should be embarrassed to offer a salary so low while requiring a college degree.
