      Front Desk Receptionist Interview

      12 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      Jersey City, NJ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at America Works (Jersey City, NJ) in Mar 2016

      Interview

The interview process for America Works was not necessarily difficult, but it was long and repetitive. The interviewer asked the same questions 5 different ways to make sure your answers were honest and well thought out. The interviewer did want me to have basic knowledge of America Works and what the company did. Overall, while not difficult, the process was longer than I expected.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me about the history of America Works and how I thought I would fit into the company, as well as what I could add to the already rich culture of the company.

      Front Desk Receptionist Interview

      12 Feb 2025
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at America Works (New York, NY)

      Interview

I got the interview through an agency. When I arrived, I had to wait over an hour to meet with anyone, then met with multiple people in the office. I had to come back for one more interview with the head of the office and was given an offer. I should have known from the interview process that it had a poor culture.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What I was looking for and situational questions regarding customer service.
