Interview
This was one of the worst and most awkward engineering experiences I've ever had. There was 1 HR interview, 2 technical and 1 onsite. The HR and 2 technical were fine, but when I got to the onsite interview, things went downhill.
For the onsite, there are 3 technical interviews and 1 HR. The first interviewer I spoke to super condecending and sounded like he was having a really bad day. 2nd and 3rd interview were hands-on coding problem where the interviewers for both interviews did not say a word for a whole hour, while I mindlessly tell them exactly what I'm doing and explain my thought process. They did not interject and tell me if I was on the right track on or not. They simply said "It doesn't really matter what you do, just get it working and we'll go from there."
Don't even bother with this company.
Thank you for taking the time to submit this review. We're sorry to hear about your poor experience. We would like to learn more about your interview experience in an effort to prevent this from happening with future candidates. Please feel free to reach out to Talent@Amount.com and we can schedule a time to connect.
Industry standard - HR screen, 1-2 technical phone screens, 4 hour on-site.
The engineering team is very nice, and the questions themselves are all very easy, but this company has a history of ghosting software engineering candidates, unfortunately this was my experience as well.
Look up interviews on their sister company Avant, and you'll see countless posts about how they ghost candidates.
If you have any self respect as a candidate, look elsewhere.

Interview
similar to junior role. phone call with hr person, video technical with dev.
both during and after technical I was told I did a great job on the technical and would be proceeding with interviews. then I got an email to set up interviews and give availability. week later asked for more availability cus team was busy. then never heard from again.
super disrespect to do this imo. interviewees are generally used to rejection...just tell us we didnt get the job, reqs changed, business needs changed..
