I didn't even get to the interview stage. However, I view the skills test as the initial interview because it was overly complex and time-consuming.
I understand some agencies do that to get the most dedicated candidates. The skills test requires you to create an account, followed by twelve (!) intense questions about your skills and background, including a video recording and a writing test. Another one is about examining someone else's website. I'd spent several hours on this task and never heard back.
A short rejection email would've sufficed. This is honestly the worst thing an employer can do to potential candidates.
