Initial interview was very comfortable and and went very well. I met with a team member in the Sales department that was very thorough with my background and skills examination. It didn't seem to bother them that I did not have hotel experience in the interview, rather they where looking for solid years of experience in hospitality and that I was sales driven.
I was told, in closing the interview, that I would be given a call by the regional director of sales since I seemed like the "right fit" for them. I rearranged my schedule to make myself availbel during this time frame that I was to be called. No one ever called the following week. So I reached out via voicemail and email with the team member I interviewed with to inquire if I would still be getting a call or what to prepare for??
No one ever took a minute to follow up with me in any way! Until....... a month later, to let me know they decided to "pursue other candidates".
Very, very, poor communication.
