I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ApotheCom in Sept 2020
Interview
I applied via the job post on LinkedIn. I had a short video call with an HR team member where he asked why I wanted the job, why I wanted to work for the company, expected salary, etc. He told me I would hear back within the next few days as they wanted the process to go very quickly. After about a week, I emailed him asking for an update. I received a quick response saying I have progressed on and would need to complete a writing test (7 days to complete) and an video interview with 4 team members. I thought the video interview went pretty well with typical interview and scenario questions. The day after the interview, I had a quick call with the HR guy who said the interview went very well and they would make a decision once all the candidates returned the writing test. He told me there were 3 candidates for 2 positions. He then also very quickly stated the salary which was lower than my expected salary but did not give me time to reply.
I returned the writing test within a few days and was told they would make a decision shortly. After a week of not hearing back, I emailed the HR guy for an update--no response. After 4 more days, I called the HR guy who said they "would make a decision within a day or two". This was more than 2 weeks ago now and haven't heard back.
Absolutely terrible to not follow up after an interview a required writing test. I completely understand if I wasn't chosen, but just send a quick email? I also read a few reviews of interviews of Apothecom and they have done this previously so this is shocking behaviour. And honestly, if they did offer me the position now I wouldn't take it. If this is how they value candidates during an interview process, I couldn't imagine how they value employees...
1) Initial phone interview with HR. About 30 minutes long. HR did most of the talking. 2) Writing test with a 1 hour time limit. Have to create summary of studies. 3) Video interview with hiring manager and other directors. Conversational. They want to get to know you better.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ApotheCom (London, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
An informal HR introduction call to understand the company and your experience, followed by a writing test for 5hrs, and then finally a long wait to hear back if you do at all. The slow process and not getting back to people is an issue and the feedback often seems in-genuine and unprofessional.
