      Senior Account Executive Interview

      18 Sept 2016
      Anonymous employee
      London, England
      Accepted offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Archetype (London, England)

      Interview

Virtually non-existent. No interview process whatsoever. More focused about getting bum on seats than bringing in the right personnel. Leading to a general lack of specialism across the accounts many individuals find themselves working with clients they know very little about.

What cool sh*t have you done before?

Hey thanks for your comments. From our perspective having a process that takes 5 days is pretty good but its always great to get feedback. We like to think of our team more than just 'personnel' which is why our interview process normally takes a bit longer. However, we will take this on board and always strive to improve.

      Senior Account Executive Interview

      1 Jul 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      New York, NY
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Archetype (New York, NY) in Apr 2014

      Interview

Two phone screenings (one with recruiter and one with account manager), one in-person group interview and the second round is a full on presentation. I was more than qualified for this position and truly believed I aced both interviews. To be honest, the whole presentation thing threw me off. Not because I am uncomfortable presenting but because it was just simply an awkward and manufactured environment. There were new people in the room I hadn't met before for "fresh perspective" and they just seemed unhappy. Overall, I could tell this was a great place to work in a traditional sense, but I got the feeling my interviewers were not actually happy to be there. They seemed fake and that's not an environment I'd want to work in.
