Very Friendly with a Disappointing End
I was contacted over the phone almost immediately after I submitted my app and a phone interview was scheduled for the following week. This phone interview was with a recruiter, who was very friendly and polite. About a week later I was contacted via email about a follow up interview to take place on-site. This, like the other, was scheduled for the following week.
At the on-site interview I was able to see the current trainer work, got a tour of the workspace, and interviewed with several individuals, both in person and over video. I also had to give a presentation I created before hand.
The woman who was my handler through this process was an absolute delight! It was a next week that I received the "thanks, but no thanks" email.
Personally, I enjoyed the interview process as a whole and was legitimately looking forward to possibly working with such welcoming and upbeat people. HOWEVER, I am a bit disappointed with how they handled me after they decided I wasn't a candidate.
Up to that last email, everyone was very open, responsive, and personable. In that last email, I was encouraged to write this review because they "welcome feedback". I responded with a "thank you for your time" email and asked for their feedback in return. That was over a week ago and all I have received is silence.
While I understand that a company may be too busy for one person, I do not like that said company would ask for something they are not willing to give back in return, especially when their feedback is more valuable to the interviewee than the other way around.
Over all, smooth and friendly process; I only feel that if they are going to ask someone to give feedback they should make the time to do the same.
