Arrow Security Rcruiter interview questions

I applied via LinkedIn. A recruiter reached out to schedule a phone screening. I passed the screening and then went on to interview the director. The interview went well. But, I didn’t hear back from them for weeks. The recruiter was supposed to update me. I emailed her, nothing. Later on, I sent her a LinkedIn message and that’s when she responded that they went with another candidate. It would have been great if she extended me the courtesy of updating me without me begging for one. Does my time mean nothing? Am I not worthy of an update???
