Ashtead Plant Hire Company interview questions

Interviewed in Aberdeen. I had originally applied for yard operative but as I was over qualified for the role, I was interviewed for the position of fitter, which was much more appealing, the interview itself was friendly and informative, it seems very positive, although I was aware the other candidates were similar in ability. I was told that if I didn't get the job they would let me know via email, or call me if I got it. However it's been a month now and I have not heard anything I can only presume I didn't get it, bit of told they would let me know they should follow up. I have now accepted an offer for another job.
