Its like one of those social experiments by a university where they make you wait and pretty much test your patience. Maybe that is how they see how willing and/or determined to get the job or they just have poor system when hiring people. They make you wait the whole day and make you come back a few times and does it again. They ask you the same question and eventually, if you've gotten this far, they'll give you the job.
