Personality assessment followed by 30 minute telephone screen with a recruiter and in person interview with Bank Manager and Assistant Manager. The interview itself was the typical describe a time when…with answers expected to follow the STAR format. At a point it seemed like they were really selling the bank to me with a description of the benefits and current achievements and so I was really positive on the outcome. After about 3 weeks of not hearing back, I reached out to the recruiter who apologized and said the Bank Manager took PTO shortly after my interview and hasn’t provided feedback on any of the candidates she interviewed. After another week and yet another follow up, he revealed the branch decided to go with another candidate, however the Bank Manager felt I interviewed well and recommended me for another location. So he sent me the link to apply for the location and after a few days, that Bank Manager reached out and we met for a one on one interview. Based on my earlier recommendation, this was basically a formality as she described what she intended to achieve at the location and my potential responsibilities. I received an offer 2 weeks later. Shout out to everyone that made it possible.
