      Analyst Interview

      17 Jun 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Oakland, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Aurora Energy (Oakland, CA)

      Interview

Online assessment with problem solving brain teasers and logic exercises. First round interview over video with junior staff then video interview with director of the team. First round was very chill non technical more qualitative, but the second round was much more like a consulting interview despite the job title being a research role.

      Question 1

      1. How many slides in the United States 2. How many slides would you make if you were a slide maker and how much would you charge for those slides 3. Explain a difficult concept
