Application
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Avalon Global Research (Mumbai) in Feb 2016
Interview
Round 1: Aptitude test involving maths, verbal, logical thinking. (45 question in 45 minutes with negative marking).
Round 2: Case study and essay writing.
I was asked to develop 1 year revenue model for a new shopping mall.
And the essay would probably be on a topic related to business strategies and similar things.
I was given 30 minutes for both case study and the essay writing.
Note: Focus on quality more than quantity during the essay writing.
Round 3: HR Interview.
Lasted for around 30 minutes. Included questions on general things like family background, hobbies and interests, current affairs, general knowledge.
Round 4: Technical Interview (by a manager).
Here you might be asked anything and everything. The case study and essay that you had solved will be discussed. You will be asked to explain about your projects as well. Apart from these things, general things based on your resume can be asked. They will also want a candidate to be thorough with the role he has applied for.
Round 5: Technical Interview (by a senior manager).
This round will be a test of your confidence and how fast you think. With me I was asked about the case study again. Knowledge about current affairs and very basic general knowledge questions were asked. I was also asked about my internship and project. Again one has to be thorough with what is the role offering to you as a candidate.
Round 6: Technical Interview (by a project manager).
This round was more of a brain storming session where in I was asked to come with more ideas related to the case study. Apart from that I was asked things related to Financial budget 2016. This round will be to see the manner in which you think.
