Good and quick if you are an ideal candidate. It’s about 2-3 rounds of interviews. They will ask a series of questions to assess your fit for the role. Make sure you are prepared

Interview
I applied through LinkedIn, and had an intake call with a recruiter. She didn’t really know much about the position. During my call with her, she was actively messaging the Director to get answers to my questions, which I appreciated at the time as she would give me an answer 5 minutes later instead of following up. I then interviewed with their Director, who was very kind. After that, I had back to back virtual panel interviews with a Marketing team member and different department members. Overall, the interview experience was great. My complaint lies with what happened afterwards. I followed up with the recruiter via email and phone the following weeks (3 weeks to be exact), and was never answered. You hear stories of recruiters ghosting you, but we shouldn’t normalize that, especially if you’ve made it pretty far into the process. I was excited for the opportunity to work for AvalonBay because it sounds like a great company, but this is a disappointing experience.

How you do you handle multiple vendors with multiple projects occurring at the same time? Such as, a new build that you’ve been planning for, and then you learn of an acquisition happening tomorrow. How do you handle those new tasks while still prioritizing your current workload?

Interview
They schedule you for an "intro call to talk about the role" Then ask you technical questions. interviewed with someone who was an intern the year before, sounded upset he had to speak with me on the 30 minute call. Made it clear he did not want to talk with me. Ended up just walking him through my resume for 5 minutes and then started asking me technical questions on what was supposed to be a behavioral personality fit intro call.
